Samed Cliff Resort

"Samed Cliff Resort" is a private and peaceful resort, beauty with clear sea water and white beaches, surrounded by tranquility natural forest, stepping up from beach to the hill.  All units with spectacular sea view, complete services and facilities.  Samed Cliff Resort is located on Samed Island (6.5 kms), or 30 minutes by ferry (or 10 minutes by speed boat).  The travelling is suitable all the year.

Samed Cliff Resort provides our customers with speed boat service Ban Phe – Koh Samed.
1. Joint travelling time schedule Transfer one way by speed boat charges 120 Baht / person.

 - Depart from Samed Chiff Resort 10.30 am. and 13.00 pm

2. Private booking Travellers could choose to travel upon your convenience. Transfer one way by speed boat charges 1,200 Baht / trip. (Maximum 10 person)

                        Boat from Ban Phe to the Resort
Bangkok - Ban Phe

The easiest way to get to Ban Phe from Bangkok. You can take the bus from Bangkok at Ekamai station on Sukhumvit road, the ticket counter is on the left hand side when you get in the station (name is Cherd Chai Tour), destination Bagnkok - Ban Phe (Samet Island) is costs 146 Baht/person/trip. Time for departure start from 5.00 am until 8.30 pm. every hour and from Ban Phe, the bus will leave at the Ban Phe station from 4.00 am until 5.00 pm every hour.

The ferry to Samet Island

The ferry to Samet Island leaves from Nuantip pier or Phe pier everyday from 8.00 am. until 6.00 pm. Its takes about 30 minutes to arrive at the center pier of the island (call Nha-dan pier) and cost 120 Baht for roundtrip per person, after that you have to take a "Songtaew" (local open air taxi) to get to Samed Cliff Resort which take about 10 minutes and cost about 200 Baht per trip.

How to get around the island

Generally walking and "Songtaew" (local open air taxi) are the main modes of transport. As the island is tiny it's really not a problem. Samet Island has only one road going from north to south with tracks running from it. You can catch a songtaew anywhere along the road and at all the main beaches. Cost for transfer from beach to beach depending on distance and negotiating skills.

Payment Condition:
  • The room fees: Confirm booking with prepayment. (Note: the period of payment can be changed due to a frequent booking.)
  • Full prepayment prior to arrival date.
  • Visa/master card is accepted plus 3.5% bank charge.
  • Cancellation & No show
    - At least 15 prior to check-in date, 1 night of each room will be charges.
    - Within 15 days prior to check-in date, 50% of total payment will be charged and not less than 1 night room rate.
    - In case of No show or Early check out is non-refundable.

  • Extra Bed = 500 Bht / night + ABF

  • Ferry for returned travelled (Ban Phe-Koh Samed) 130 Bht / person/way.
    - Depart from Ban Phe 12.15am. and 13.15 pm. at Chok Krisda Pier
    - Depart from Resort 11.40 am. and 12.40 pm.
    Or Aprat frpm travelling with us, travellers can take public ferry at Nuantip Market pier or Chok Krisda Pier "Petch Burapha Ferry". Public ferry provides services between 8.00 am. - 17.30 pm.

  • 24-hours electricity and water supply, hot water generator, swimming pool, garden and restaurant.

  • All room type has 1 bathroom (shower), A/C, TV, Fridge, and hot water generator.

  • No National Park Admission Fee to Khao Laem Ya - Moo Koh Samed "Saikaew Beach" if travellers decide not to visit there.

  • We provide 24 hours electricity and water supply, swimming pool, garden and restaurant.

  • Pets are not permitted and self - cooking is not allowed in the resort area.

  • Peak Season Surcharge: 500 Bht-net/room/night, plus weekend rate
